INTERMEDIATE RIFLE

COURSE DESCRIPTION: 

Designed to teach an experienced shooter how to safely handle their rifle in a simple standing defensive scenario. Training bridges the gap between the Basic and Tactical Courses.  See our Safety Guidelines and Range Safety Rules page.  

SYLLABUS & TRAINING OVERVIEW:

Skills based training focusing on Safety, Stances, Low and High Ready shooting positions, 2 eyes open Target-Centric Focus, Point Shooting and Sighting with or without optics, Barricades, Left and Right handed shooting, Trigger Mechanics / Reset,  Controlled Pairs / Triples.

We provide several tools as part of our Training Systems which we incorporate into our academics to enhance student learning.

$100 per Student, Cash, Check, ZELLE or VENMO

2-3 Hours total instruction (.5-1 hour classroom, 1.5-2 hours shooting range)

Outdoor Range in the Houston Area

MAXIMUM # OF STUDENTS PER CLASS:  

2 per Instructor (Coordinate for courses larger than 2 for additional instructors)

WHAT STUDENT NEEDS TO PROVIDE:  

Defensive Rifle, 200-300 rounds, Eye/Ear Protection.
